Skocetopia Table Top Games, Grand Opening in Butler December 7th and 8th

Remember the fun and excitement of playing board games with family and friends?  That’s exactly what this new Butler business is offering.  Located on the North side of the Butler square, Skocetopia is a table top gaming business where anyone can go and play board games, make new friends and have a great time.

Owners, Gates Bartz and Kaleb Skocy are from the Butler area and have very fond memories of playing board games with friends during college years and they are passionate about providing the area youth with something fun that will help to keep them occupied.  And so, Skocetopia was born with over 75 traditional and new table top games.

For $3 per day, kids and adults can go to Skocetopia and play all the board games they want, whether it’s just a couple of hours or open to close.  Snacks and drinks are available for purchase along with game accessories for those who want their own.  Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Days and hours of operation are:  Monday and Tuesday closed, Wednesday and Thursday 2-10 pm, Friday 2-11 pm, Saturday 10 am-11 pm, and Sunday 10 to 10.

Skocetopia is having their grand opening on Saturday and Sunday, December 7th and 8th offering free play to all from 10 am to 10 pm both days.

For more information about Skocetopia, check out their Facebook page.

FM-92 would like to welcome Skocetopia to the Bates County community and to the historic Butler Square.
