The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office has special alert decals available for county residents.
Sheriff Scott A. Keeler had these printed up to help first responders better identify possible challenges that may arise during any official contact. These decals are designed to help first responders identify potential communication barriers that may exist while trying assist the individual.
The decals specifically identify the conditions of alzheimers/dementia, diabetes, hearing impaired, and autism/special needs. The reflective decals are approximately 5″ x 5″ in size.
If you or your loved one are affected by one or more of these conditions, please stop by the Sheriff’s Office and pick one or two up during normal business hours. You can affix them to your vehicle window or front door window to provide first responders vital information prior to contact or in the event of an emergency.
