Warrant Arrests

Alisha Weyant: On July 4th Alisha Weyant, age 35 and of Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Weyant was booked and released pending formal charges.

The charges come after the vehicle Weyant was driving was pulled over for an equipment violation. A K9 unit was called to the scene. The K9 did an exterior sniff test of the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics. Weyant stated there would be some residue on the soda can that was in the vehicle. There was also a dollar bill located in Weyant’s wallet that had a white crystal like residue on it. The dollar bill field tested positive for methamphetamines.

William Dorman: On July 4th William Dorman, age 50 and of Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Dorman was booked and released pending formal charges.

The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over the vehicle that Dorman was a passenger in for an equipment violation. A K9 unit was called to the scene. The K9 did an exterior sniff test of the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics. During the search of the vehicle, a soda can was found with a white crystal like residue on it and a dollar bill was found that had a white crystal like residue on it. The dollar bill field tested positive for methamphetamines.

Benny Smith Jr: On July 2nd Benny Smith Jr., age 31 and of Lebanon, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The original charges stem from an Osceola Police Department investigation on May 2, 2018.

Tristen Brightwell: On July 1st Tristen Brightwell, age 20 and of Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Class E Felony Assault in the Third Degree and a Class A Misdemeanor Domestic Assault in the Fourth Degree. Brightwell was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to an apartment on Goodrich Drive. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Lee and Angelica Bryant, Krista Turner, and Tristen Brightwell. All four admitted to consuming alcohol. It was also stated that Brightwell had gotten really upset and started putting his hands on Angelica. Lee heard his sister, Angelica, screaming. Lee confronted Brightwell, and the two began fighting. Turner stated she tried to hug Brightwell after the fight to calm him down, and Brightwell cut her on the stomach with a knife.

Casey Wall: On July 1st Casey Wall, age 29 and of Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy stopped to check on a vehicle that was sitting on the road with its hazard lights on. The deputy made contact with the driver, Casey Wall, who stated that they had ran out of gas and were waiting on their friend to bring them some. The deputy asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle. The driver stated no, and gave consent to search the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, heroin was located inside the purse of the female passenger. Wall also admitted to the deputies that he had a broken glass pipe in his pocket.

Danielle Lindquist: On July 1st Danielle Lindquist, age 49 and of Glendale, Arizona, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy stopped to check on a vehicle that was sitting on the side of the road with its hazard lights on. The deputies got consent to search from the driver of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, heroin was found in the purse belonging to Lindquist.

Joseph Horn: On June 30th Joseph Horn, age 23 and of Tupelo, Mississippi, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Class B Misdemeanor Exceeding Posted Speed Limit by More Than 26 MPH. Horn was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over the vehicle Horn was driving for excessive speeding.

Casey Williams: On June 29th Casey Williams, age 31 and of Lee’s Summit, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Williams was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a deputy pulled over the vehicle Williams was driving for a traffic violation. While talking with the deputy, Williams admitted to having pills in her shoe that were in a cellophane wrapper. Williams admitted the pills were Xanax and Hydrocodone.

David McKinney: On June 28th David McKinney, age 36 and of Appleton City, was arrested on multiple St. Clair County warrants charging him with a Class E Felony Domestic Assault in the Third Degree, Class A Misdemeanor Assault in the Third Degree, an Unclassified Probation Violation, and a Class D Misdemeanor Driving Without a License. Total bond is set at $13,500 cash or surety and $173 cash only.

The warrants stem from incidents in 2016 and 2017.

Christopher Parker: On June 28th Christopher Parker, age 47 and of Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a Class D Felony Non-Support, Total Arrears in Excess of 12 Monthly Payments Due Under Order of Support. Bond is set at $1,500 cash only.

The warrant was issued on Dec. 27, 2016.

Jason Bost: On June 28th Jason Bost, age 44 and of Lowry City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Class D Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bost was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the area of Twin Oaks Harbor to check the welfare of people asleep in a vehicle. When the deputy arrived on scene, a male and female subject were standing outside of the vehicle, and a child was inside the vehicle. The deputy asked for and was given consent to search the vehicle by both the female and Bost. During the search of the vehicle two large plastic bags and a straw were found with some white crystal like residue on them. The bags and straw all field tested positive for methamphetamines. Bost admitted to all of the stuff to be his.

Caleb Colby: On June 26th Caleb Colby, age 28 and of Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Probation and Parole Violation. This is a no bond 48 hour hold.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office in Osceola.

 Wanted Person Captured in Lowry City

On July 4th, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to Northeast 969 Private Road in Lowry City in reference to a possible shooting suspect.

The deputy was advised through dispatch to be on the lookout for a male subject with long brown hair, blue jeans, and a black leather vest, driving a white in color pickup. The individual was wanted by the Hickory County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a shooting incident.

Upon arrival, the deputy observed a white in color 2002 Ford Ranger in the yard of the residence with an individual matching the description sitting in the driver’s seat, who appeared to be asleep.

A second deputy arrived on scene and both deputies approached the vehicle. The deputies were able to awaken the subject and assist him out of the vehicle. When the subject exited the vehicle, a stainless 9mm semi-automatic handgun was found in the driver’s seat.

The subject was identified as Calvin Baker.

Upon further searching the individual, a metal container was found on his person that contained a small plastic straw, three zip lock baggies, and a small piece of black plastic. The zip lock baggies contained a white crystal like residue. The residue did field test positive for methamphetamines.

The subject, along with the weapon, were transported to the St. Clair/Hickory County line and transferred into the custody of the Hickory County Sheriff’s Office.

Charges are pending out of St. Clair County.

Damaged Mailbox in Osceola

On July 4, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NW Highway E in reference to property damage.

Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Zane Gray. Gray stated that sometime during the night someone had damaged his mailbox. Gray stated that this has happened before and it would cost about $75 to repair the mailbox.

Assault and Burglary in Appleton City

On July 3, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NW Highway M in reference to an assault and burglary.

While en route to the residence, the deputy spoke with Jimmy Bock on the phone. Bock stated he is renting a house to Kenneth Collins, Jr. and Pamela Williams without a written lease, but wants them off the property now. The deputy advised Bock, he would have to evict the residents.

The deputy arrived on scene and spoke with Kenneth Collins, Jr. Collins stated that when he arrived home he seen someone had mowed the grass and he noticed some of his belongings missing. Collins also stated that his landlord came onto the back porch of the residence and started to yell at him to get out. Then Bock spat onto Collins’ face and acted like he was going to hit Collins. Pamela Williams came outside and stated she was going to call 911. Bock left the property.

Collins stated that someone had been into his residence and that several items were missing. Collins lists the items as a kitchen trashcan, dishes, a 30 pound bag of dog food, a baby gate, two red lawn chairs, a Craftsman push mower, a pneumatic Bostitch coil nail gun, a pneumatic Bostitch frame nail gun, a 25 gallon Craftsman air compressor, a 100 foot air hose, a Milwaukee hammer drill, a Craftsman tool chest, a pneumatic dual action sander, miscellaneous hand tools, and an aluminum truck bed tool box. Total estimated loss value is $1,942.

Collins filled out a request for prosecution.

Burglary in Collins

On June 29, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SE 701 Road and SE 1200 Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

Upon arrival, the deputy located two vehicles on SE 701 Road. There was a late model blue New Holland tractor and a blue Buick with the hood up and the ignition was missing. During the investigation the deputy found the owner of the New Holland tractor to be Robert Floyd. Contact was made with Floyd and he was unaware that the tractor was taken from his property.

On June 30, a St. Clair County deputy met up with Floyd to check out the cabin. Floyd stated that pretty much everything had been disturbed in the house. Floyd stated he would get a list of items that were missing and a damage estimate to the deputy as soon as he could.

Evidence was collected from the scene and suspects have been named.

Stolen Vehicle in Collins

On June 28, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SE 777 Private Road in Collins in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Judy Freeman. She stated her white, four door 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix was taken during the night from her residence. Freeman stated it was her work vehicle for mail delivery. It has a “U.S. Mail” sticker on the back window.

Estimated value of the vehicle is $1,500.
