For your wellness, Bates County Memorial Hospital has added two new support groups and a summer health fair to community events.
Support Groups
A Grief Support Group meets every first Tuesday of the month at 4 pm, and a support group for Caregivers of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) will meet every second Tuesday of the month at 4 pm, starting June 13. Nutrition Classes are every first and third Tuesday from 11am – 12pm. These free groups are led by health care professionals: Brionna Smith, LCSW leads Grief Support and co-leads the ASD Caregivers support group with Lexi Hahn, CMA. Nutrition Classes are taught by our registered dietitian, Jennifer Lindquist. All groups meet in the hospital’s Education Center at 615 W. Nursery, Butler, MO 64730.
