| Summers Pharmacy in Butler is an approved COVID vaccine provider but they DO NOT have the vaccine yet. Missouri is working to open up new phases but the vaccine supply has been very limited statewide. Summers Pharmacy have not received a notice of when they will receive the vaccine, but will keep everybody up to date once they do. Once Summers Pharmacy receive the vaccine, they will work as hard as they can to administer the vaccine in a safe and quick manner. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
