If you have not the opportunity to donate to the Bates County Kids School Supply drive, we remind you the weekend of August 6th thru 8th is Tax free weekend. You can save some money and donate to the school supply drive.
Donations of backpacks, water bottles, school supplies, shoes, and socks, are still need for kids in Bates County. While shopping at Wal-Mart, Dollar General’s, or Dollar Tree, pickup your donations and drop school supplies off in the donation boxes at these locations.
Donations may also by dropped off at the Carpenters Cup located at 102 S. Bishop ST. Butler, MO, 64730. No child in Bates County should go without school supplies or a new pair of shoes and some socks.
The Sales Tax Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 6, and runs through Sunday, August 8.
