Next week, we will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week in the Harrisonville School district with special social media posts, recognition of our retirees, a spirit week and the announcement of our end-of-the-year award winners. Below is the list of “spirit” days. Each morning, we will post this graphic on the district Facebook page (www.facebook.com/HarrisonvilleSchools) and we invite you to share a comment answering the question both from a student & parent perspective.
We also invite you to express your appreciation to our teachers and staff in whatever way you can – emails, social media posts, letters (you can send the letters to our school addresses & we will get them to the staff member).

Businesses interested in recognizing our teachers are encouraged to decorate their business, post a marquee message, post a note of appreciation on Facebook tagging @HarrisonvilleSchools, etc. If you have a business and you’d like to offer a discount or give-away for staff, contact jill.filer@harrisonvilleschools.org.
