Join state park team members at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, for a 0.6-mile hike along the Courage Trail. Hikers will learn about the wildflowers in today’s landscape and those that would have existed in that area in the 1800s.
The event is free and open to the public, and will begin at the kiosk in front of the parking lot. For more information, contact Rebecca Knox at Prairie State Park at 417-843-6711.
