The Community Fundraiser for this year’s Thanksgiving meal has been a tremendous success. The Carpenters Cup and Judge Julie Highley express their gratitude for your generous donations. They are anticipating feeding around 500 people countywide. If you haven’t signed up for home delivery, a carry-out meal, or a Thanksgiving Basket to cook at home, they ask that you do so as soon as possible.
The goal of the Carpenters Cup and Judge Highley is that no person or family goes without a Thanksgiving meal. If you prefer to cook your own meal and haven’t signed up for a food gift basket, contact The Carpenters Cup today before the deadline 660-679-3333.
The date and time to receive your Thanksgiving meal follows:
The Thanksgiving meal for those requesting a home delivery will go out by 10:30 AM and pickup or carry-out meals will be from 12:00 to 12:30 PM. Dine-in at the door will open at noon at the Butler Senior Center with the noon meal to be served at 1 PM. The deadline to order a Thanksgiving meal, or home delivery will be November 22, at 5:00 PM. Call 660-679-3333 to sign up for delivery or pickup of your meal.
An update for volunteers helping deliver the Thanksgiving meal to the homebound…. they have volunteer drivers for the people signed up for delivering in all areas except Rich Hill and Rockville.
