On Wednesday, June 9th at approximately 10:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol, assisted by the Bates County Sheriff’s Department, responded to a single vehicle accident in the Northbound Lane of I-49 at 189 feet North of 125 mile marker in Bates County.
According to the Highway Patrol the accident occurred when a 2022 Freightliner, driven by 25 year old Angelica Navarro of California, travelled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Even though the 2022 Freightliner was totaled, Navarro sustained minor injuries. She was transported by the Bates County EMS to Bates County Memorial Hospital.
Osvaldo Rosalesflores, a 21 year old male from California, was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash. He, also, sustained minor injuries and was transported by Bates County EMS to Bates County Memorial Hospital.
