University Of Missouri Extension Holds “Partners of Pasture Meeting”/August 28

The August “Partners in Pasture” meeting is Monday, August 28th at 6pm at the Ervin and Regina Scharff Farm Northeast of Stockton.  “Partners in Pasture” is a group of West Central Missouri forage producers who meet at different farms and discuss the grazing management and livestock needs.

This farm will feature both cool and warm season grasses. The host will provide burgers and hot dogs; participants should bring lawn chairs and a potluck dish. The University of Missouri Extension will provide water and paper supplies. In addition a   trailer with hay bales to ride across the pastures will be provided.

Directions to the Ervin and Regina Scharff Farm from Stockton:

Go 3 miles east of Stockton on 32 Highway.  Turn left, and go 9 miles northeast on M Highway.  It is a blue house.  Watch for Extension signs.

Directions to the Ervin and Regina Scharff Farm from Humansville:

Go west 1 mile on N Highway.  Turn left, and go south 4 miles on M highway.  It is a blue house.  Watch for Extension signs.
