Homicide Investigation Underway in Vernon County According to a press release issued by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office early Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased person at a residence on Quail Road in the Southwest area of Vernon County near the Kansas line Wednesday morning.
Update 10/30/2020:
As the investigation continues, Aaron Goodwin is being sought by authorities for abandonment of a corpse in connection with the October 28th homicide in Southwest Vernon County, Missouri.
The victim has been identified as 63-year-old Connie J Goodwin, the mother of Aaron Goodwin. It is believed that Aaron is in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area.
