William Grant Noble Arrested Due to Evidence Tampering in the Death of Clinton Officer Gary Michael

On Thursday, August 10th, Henry County Prosecutors charged William Grant Noble (age 35 of Clinton) with tampering with physical evidence. Noble tampered with the evidence when he allegedly tossed the rifle that was used in the shooting of Clinton Officer Michael into a creek about 2 miles north of Clinton.

The weapon was found by investigators earlier on August 10th.

Henry County Prosecutors have stated that Noble was informed on what the rifle had been used for, and he intentionally attempted to conceal it from investigators.
